Bidar residents will witness a three-day bonanza of folk music and dance from January 27.
Folk artistes from various States will perform at the folklore and national integrity festival to be organised at the Rang Mandir, Karnataka College and Akka Mahadevi College.
Ganayana team from Bengaluru will be the first to perform on January 27. It will be followed by Praveen and team from Mumbai, a team sponsored by the Telangana Culture and Language Department, Karnataka Janapada Parishat from Bengaluru and the south central cultural centre in Nagpur.
A team from the Karnataka Folk University regional centre Bidar, will present dances, Garudi Gombe will be performed by folk artists from Humnabad, Oggu Katha from Warangal in Telangana, Lavani and Gondali from Apeksha Nirmal from Bheed in Maharashtra, will perform on the second day.
Surabhi Masanale from Aurangabad, Moulasab Jangisab from Gadag will sing Moharram songs. Jagadevi Morade and team will sing Bhulai songs and Veeranna Kumbar will sing Tatva Pada. Local teams of Chitaki Bhajane from Choudhari Belakuni in Aurad, Dhari Bhajane from Madiwaleshwar Seva Samiti, Shanta and team, Rani Satyamurthy and team, and the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya team will also perform, Jagannath Hebbale, folk centre regional director told presspersons on Friday.
