CM approved 48 crores for Bidar.


District administration complex to come up in Bidar.


Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that the Cabinet has approved construction of a district administration complex in Bidar at a cost of Rs. 48 crore.

He told presspersons after a Cabinet meeting here on Friday that a tribal park would come up at Borampalli village in Humanabad taluk in Bidar district. The Chief Minister said that administrative approvals had been given for the construction of 11 hostels at the cost of Rs 98.40 crore in Koppal, Raichur, Kalaburagi and Bidar districts.

Additional funds

Urban local bodies in Kalaburagi and Raichur districts would get an additional Rs. 56 crore and Rs. 32 crore respectively under the Naragottan scheme. Kampli town in Ballari district would get Rs. 6 crore under the scheme to take up road, drainage and other works. The Cabinet gave its approval for the construction of a Government Dental college and Research institute building at Ballari at a cost of Rs 7.04 crore and the transfer of 30.38 acres of land for the proposed Government Medical College on the outskirts of Yadgir.

The Cabinet gave its approval for the construction of Mini Vidhan Soudha buildings at a cost of Rs. 10 crore each at Chitapur and Sedam towns.
