Sanjay Gurubasappa Kheny was elected the president of Bidar Sahakari Sakkare Karakhane at Hallikhed-B village in Humanbad taluk on Sunday.
Eeranna Havigeppa Patil was elected vice-president. The election was unanimous. They will hold office for 30 months, till March 31, 2015, said Ashok Havigeppa Tamasange, who chaired the meeting to elect the members. Mr. Kheny, Bharatiya Janata Party leader, hails from Kheni Ranjol village in Bidar taluk. Mr. Patil is a member of the Bidar Zilla Panchayat. Subhash Gurulingappa Kallur, district BJP unit president, was the previous president and Marutirao Govindarao, former MLA, was the vice-president.
