Vivimed Labs Ltd has commenced Commercial production at its new facility for manufacturing of sunscreens set up at Bidar, Karnataka. This Plant was set up within a record time of six months.
The company had earlier announced that, International Specialty Products (ISP), a New Jersey - based chemical supplier has forged a manufacturing alliance with Vivimed Labs Ltd. for production of UV absorbers. The manufacturing alliance will allow the two Companies to jointly market specific products used in sprays and lotions that include UVA and UVB protective properties.
The agreement will also mean that ISP will add a number of UVA and UVB absorbers that are already manufactured by Vivimed to its portfolio of sun protection ingredients wherein both the Companies benefit from this relationship.
Alongside this expansion, Vivimed has also increased capacities for other ingredients in Oral care/Hair care segments, which means the Company is geared up to meet its revenue guidelines for F.Y. 2012.

ReplyDeleteWould like investors to look at Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements as well. Two problems which I see on a quick review -
1. No provisioning for credit sales, debtors, inventory.
2. No information on "Intangible - Goodwill/Trademark/etc." and at the same time very low expense in R&D account. Are they hiding some costs, and inflating operating margins?
