Steelbird opens Riderz Shopee in Bidar, Karnataka

Helmet brand, Steelbird Hi-Tech India Ltd, recently set up its second exclusive retail outlet, 'Riderz Shoppe', selling riding gears and helmets here in Karnataka's Bidar.

The concepts of the retail outlet is to enable a motorcycle rider to choose riding gears at his own.

According to official sources, after the success of first pilot project in Delhi, Steelbird set up the shop in Southern India due to overwhelming demand of Steelbird products in this part of the country.

Steelbird Helmets, Head Sales & Marketing, Shailendra Jain said, “Cities like Bidar, Bangalore, Mysore, Pondicherry Ludhiana, Patiala are known as biker’s hub, where people are fascinated for bikes. You can find super bikes and lot of trendy bikes in the possession of youngster these days."

Jain said, "To ride these bikes one must have riding gears which we will provide through the shoppe. To begin with we are selling Steelbird‘s exclusive range of helmets, pannier boxes, bikers gloves, shoes, jackets goggles and other allied products."

He added, "We shall keep introducing new and hi-tech biking gears in due course of time in these shoppe."

Elaborating the company's expansion plans, Jain said, “Within next 2 years, we intend to open around 200 Riderz Shoppe across India, out of which we intend to open 50 outlets in southern India including cities like Bangalore, Mysore, Udupi, Chennai, Hyderabad, where biking is also a passion, more than commuting.”

He added, “Indian two wheeler industries has maximum share of motorcycles, creating a huge market for Biking Gears. However, the riders have hardly any choice if he wishes to buy authentic branded and international quality riding gears."

"By opening Riderz Shoppe, we are certainly bridging this huge gap and also educating people to go for qualitative products as every single product we are offering will help the riders to drive safely with style.”
